A New Platform Leads to Unique Opportunities

A large and forward-thinking architecture firm working with UpSpring for PR found that their website no longer reflected the strength and sophistication of their team. Their vision for a new site extended well beyond the capabilities of their existing platform, prompting a strategic shift to Webflow. I worked closely with our internal team to map out a high-level site structure, while collaborating directly with the client to align on goals for every page and process.

To bring this vision to life, I dove into Webflow—researching platform capabilities, plug-ins, and interaction options. We approached the build in iterative rounds, refining functionality and design with each pass. The final result was a site the client was excited to launch and proud to showcase as a digital extension of their portfolio. The project went on to win Gold at the SIA Summit Creative Awards, and helped establish Webflow as an ongoing platform offering at UpSpring.

Custom Scroll Animations

The client’s Workplace Strategy practice is both established and nuanced—and at risk of getting lost in a wall of copy. To keep this key differentiator both digestible and dynamic, I storyboarded and mocked up the content flow as a rough stop-motion animation to review with the team.

From there, I partnered with the firm’s designer to build a Lottie animation that could scroll forward and backward with user input. This scroll-based interaction allowed users to explore the content at their own pace. Additional microinteractions, like vertical floating section headers and scroll-triggered dividers, helped visually connect the narrative and maintain momentum down the page.

Dynamic CMS Collections for Projects and Insights

No two projects are the same—and the client needed a system that could flex with them. I developed a modular design structure that allowed for per-project customization within a unified visual framework. This ensured consistency across the site while making it easy for the client’s internal team to maintain and update pages post-launch.
